Position Overview:
As the Acting Store Manager, you will oversee the overall operations of a designated Sephora store. This role involves direct management of the leadership team and Beauty Advisors. You will be responsible for enhancing the client experience, fostering team development, driving sales, optimizing productivity, managing merchandising, and ensuring operational efficiencies.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of store sales performance, staffing, payroll, and other controllable expenses.
- Strategic Budgeting: Maximize store profitability by accurately forecasting sales and aligning staffing plans with business trends.
- Client-Centric Approach: Develop strategies to provide clients with meaningful in-store experiences, establishing Sephora as a premier destination for beauty education through services, classes, and events.
- Team Development: Cultivate a positive culture aligned with Sephora's Values through consistent coaching, career conversations, education, and performance management.
- Three to five years of experience in a leadership role at a store with similar sales volume or relevant internal experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of building teams by attracting and developing talented leaders who can train Beauty Advisors to excel in sales and client service.
- Demonstrated ability to lead on the sales floor, coaching and guiding team members to success through company initiatives.
