Position Overview
The Project/Specialty Cleaner, reporting to the Shift Supervisor and/or Operations Manager, is tasked with executing a variety of general cleaning services at designated commercial client locations. Responsibilities include the setup and teardown of events, carpet cleaning, and other specialized projects as assigned. This role also involves providing guidance and support to assigned Helpers while assisting as needed.


Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Operations:
    • Review daily work orders and coordinate with involved associates.
    • Verify routing and directions for each assignment.
    • Inspect materials and equipment to ensure readiness for scheduled tasks.
    • Create requisitions for materials and equipment needed for weekly operations.
  • Client Site Responsibilities:
    • Complete tasks to meet client specifications and satisfaction.
    • Manage work assignments within allocated units and ensure accurate documentation.
    • Inspect completed work to uphold ServiceMaster standards.
    • Facilitate client inspections post-completion and process payments.
    • Address re-service requests promptly and courteously.
    • Engage with clients to ensure satisfaction.
    • Train Helpers to adhere to outlined specifications.
  • General Duties:
    • Maintain all equipment and vehicles in proper working condition.
    • Ensure cleanliness of vehicles and equipment used.
    • Possess a comprehensive understanding of services offered and advise management accordingly.
    • Participate in weekly production team meetings and training workshops.
    • Assist in training new crew members in accordance with ServiceMaster standards.
    • Exhibit professional conduct and appearance in all client interactions.
    • Foster positive relationships with colleagues.
    • Deliver exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.
    • Adhere to company safety policies and workplace regulations.
    • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Must possess a valid driver's license. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential duties effectively.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Results-oriented with strong management and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing environments and priorities.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma required. A minimum of two years of experience in cleaning services is necessary, with supervisory experience preferred.
