About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Sterling Inn & Spa. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Train staff in food preparation and handling
  • Maintain inventory and records of food and supplies
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will work closely with our culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Cook, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
