Position Overview

Maurya Construction Inc is seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in masonry techniques and be capable of delivering high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units with precision.
  • Estimate the necessary materials, tools, and equipment for various projects.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units to meet project specifications.
  • Read and interpret sketches and blueprints to accurately calculate material requirements.
  • Build decorative installations such as patios and garden walls.
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices and other workers on-site.
  • Restore and maintain existing masonry structures to uphold quality standards.
Work Environment

This position requires working at heights, utilizing scaffolding or swing stages. Candidates must be comfortable using hand and power tools to cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks.

Security and Safety Requirements
  • Must be bondable and pass a basic security clearance.
  • Criminal record check and driver's validity license check are mandatory.
Employment Details

This is a permanent position with working hours ranging from 35 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
