Masonry Specialist Job Description

Jagir Contracting Inc is seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build structures
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
  • Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations
  • Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build chimneys and fireplaces
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in masonry
  • Equivalent experience in a related field
