Job SummaryAs a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, including engineering, product management, sales, operations, and leadership.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including executive-level updates.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, status, and outcomes.
- Work with Equinix teams to ensure physical security IT devices globally are configured with up-to-date security settings.
- Implement and maintain encryption protocols to protect data transmitted by physical security devices.
- Create processes to regularly update firmware and software for all security devices globally to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Manage and partner with IT teams on all health monitoring on devices to ensure business continuity.
- Work closely with the Global Physical Security team to integrate IT security measures into physical security operations.
- Collaborate with network and system administrators to ensure physical security devices are properly integrated into the broader IT infrastructure.
- Provide guidance and support to local security teams at various global locations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of Global security policies, procedures, and configurations for physical security IT devices.
- Provide training and awareness programs for staff on the secure use and management of physical security devices.
- Develop standard operating procedures for the secure deployment and management of physical security systems.
- Evaluate new physical security technologies and recommend solutions to enhance security through a Secure by Design process.
- Plan and oversee the implementation of new security technologies and ensure they are properly integrated into existing systems, and Information Security Architecture Frameworks.
- Perform regular reviews and updates of existing security technologies to ensure they meet current security standards.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience, including experience with project planning, PM tools, task management, SCRUM methodology, and Agile methodology.
- 5+ years of product management experience, including experience with product roadmaps, product lifecycle management, and requirements gathering.
- 5+ years of work scope experience, including experience working directly with engineering teams, managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience with MS Project, MS Office, and MS Sharepoint.
- Experience managing large-scale programs that impact business operations.
- PMP certification.
- PRINCE2 certification.
- AWS Certification(s).
- Experience leading technical projects for Equinix.
