Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our bakery, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Baking Personnel: Oversee the preparation and baking of our products, ensuring that they are made to the highest standards of quality.
  • Manage Inventory: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
  • Train Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Inspect our products and kitchen areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality.
  • Manage Scheduling: Schedule staff to ensure that our bakery is adequately staffed at all times.
  • Oversee Sales and Merchandising: Work with our sales team to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and promote our products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
