Position Overview

As a Custom Garment Specialist at ASIYANS TEX AND GIFTWARE INC., you will be responsible for creating tailored clothing that meets the specific needs and preferences of our clients. Your expertise in garment construction and alteration will ensure that each piece is crafted to perfection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Tasks:
    • Construct made-to-measure garments following customer specifications and manufacturing guidelines.
    • Fit, modify, and repair garments as necessary to achieve the desired look and fit.
    • Design, cut, sew, and finish materials to create hats and headwear.
    • Alter or re-style fur garments and accessories to meet client requests.
    • Utilize sewing machines or hand-sewing techniques to produce high-quality items.
    • Select and adapt commercial patterns to suit customer measurements and clothing manufacturer standards.
    • Create custom patterns based on specific measurements.
    • Mark, cut, and sew fabric with precision.
  • Area of Work Experience: Expertise in alterations, repairs, and tailoring.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role is preferred.
