Position Overview

As a Retail Cashier at YUMMY PIZZA AND DONAIR, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently managing transactions.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the cash register and process various forms of payment including cash, checks, and credit/debit cards.
  • Scan items and calculate the total payment for goods or services.
  • Receive payments and ensure accurate reconciliation of daily transactions.
  • Engage in suggestive selling to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the counter area and stock shelves as needed.
  • Greet customers warmly and assist with reservations or take-out orders.
  • Support customers in selecting their preferred seating arrangements.
  • Handle merchandise packaging and assist with weighing produce and bulk items.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist with self-checkout processes.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, ensuring proof of payment is requested when necessary.
