Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Clerk to join our team at FreshCo. As a Produce Clerk, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring the highest quality produce products are available to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Order, receive, and merchandise produce products in accordance with company inventory control procedures
  • Provide superior customer service to meet customer needs
  • Increase store sales by actively promoting featured products
  • Perform back shop and retail floor maintenance, keeping work area clean and presentable
  • Prep customer produce orders and process department shrink as required
  • Participate in the training of junior staff

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Above average communication skills (oral and written)
  • May be required to lift up to 20lbs, stand for long periods of time, and complete physical work
