Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Burrito Boyz. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement efficient systems and procedures to manage food preparation, service, and inventory.
    • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure profitability.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food meets our high standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, labor costs, and inventory levels.
    • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, customer feedback, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.
