Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Brickmason to work on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry, excellent physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
  • Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations
  • Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces
  • Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in masonry
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 to 40 hours of work per week
Working Conditions

The work is physically demanding, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling.
