About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Stonhard. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate take-offs and supporting our Territory Managers in increasing face-to-face selling time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate take-offs for construction projects
  • Support Territory Managers in increasing face-to-face selling time
  • Assist in providing leads on projects to get our products specified
  • Collaborate with Architectural Representatives to identify new business opportunities
Requirements
  • Competence in Computer-aided design (Planswift & AutoCAD)
  • Knowledge of Ontario Building Code Standards
  • Understanding of materials and methods of construction
  • Excellent Organization Skills – Ability to Multi-task
  • 2 years experience estimating a wide range of construction projects
  • Experience involving reading specifications and drawings
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Certification – PMP, Construction Estimating
Work Environment
  • Full-Time, Permanent, in office position with no opportunity for remote work
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30-5:00
  • Occasional overtime may be required
