About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at SE Health. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Care
    • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
    • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking and transferring
  • Household Management
    • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning
    • Manage client's living space, including organizing and decluttering
  • Communication and Documentation
    • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
    • Document client's progress and care provided
Requirements
  • Education and Training
    • Completion of a Personal Support Worker program or equivalent
    • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a personal support worker role or related field
