Job Summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking a Professor of Complex Problem Modelling and Simulation to teach a course on business analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business and a proven track record of teaching and research in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and teach a course on complex problem modelling and simulation using specialized software
  • Design and implement practical exercises to help students develop their skills in business analytics
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of business analytics and incorporate new knowledge into the course

Requirements

  • Master's degree in business or a related field (Ph.D. preferred)
  • Recent experience in business analytics, preferably in a teaching or research role
  • Strong teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions

The course will be taught in-person, but it is possible that the mode of instruction may change due to health or other reasons.
