About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cleaner, Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team at SST 2006. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in our processing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
  • Operate and maintain production machinery, including pressure cleaners and industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals
  • Participate in quality control initiatives to ensure compliance with company standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment
