Job Description
BMO is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager for a contract role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage team members from both business and technology sectors.
- Understand and negotiate task timelines and assignments to prioritize actions effectively.
- Maintain a strategic perspective on project lifecycles while comprehending the intricate details of processes and business operations.
- Experience with standard data center and cloud infrastructure development is advantageous.
- Possess a background in Finance, Enterprise Risk, or Capital Markets.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills to analyze and articulate the rationale behind BMO's initiatives.
- Develop MS Project schedules.
- Engage and negotiate with stakeholders at the CIO level.
- Have a minimum of one year of project involvement.
- Exhibit a blend of business acumen and technological expertise.
- Make informed decisions within the governance framework.
Qualifications:
- Banking Experience: 1 year (Required)
- Technology Project Management with Business Terminology: 5 years (Required)
- Application Development Background: 5 years (Required)
- MS Project Scheduling: 5 years (Required)
- Project Management Experience: 7 years (Required)
- Credit Market Risk: 1 year (Desired)
- Financial Treasury: 1 year (Desired)
Education/Certifications:
PMP certification is preferred.
