Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at The Royale Development LP. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supply and empty bed pans, take patients' vital signs, and serve meal trays
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher and collect specimens as needed
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and provide personal care and companionship
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and linen management
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Criminal record check, immunization records, vulnerable sector check, and tuberculosis test
Work Environment:

Our nursing home/home for the aged setting offers a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional care and support to our clients. As a Personal Support Worker, you will work under pressure and be required to perform repetitive tasks. You must be physically demanding and able to stand for extended periods, as well as walk, bend, and crouch as needed.
