**Job Summary**

Earthmovers Equipment Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts and components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, using technical manuals and schematics to identify and resolve problems.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.

**Requirements**

  • **Education and Experience**
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  • **Skills and Qualifications**
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and hydraulics.
    • Experience with diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in heavy equipment.
    • Ability to diagnose faults independently.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
    • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts and perform manual labor.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Must have own tools.
