Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Equipment Ontario Inc. as a key member of our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment: Diagnose and repair faults and malfunctions in agricultural equipment using computerized and other testing equipment.
  • Perform Repairs and Maintenance: Adjust equipment, repair or replace defective parts, and keep maintenance reports and documentation up to date.
  • Test and Verify: Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Attach and Adjust: Attach components and adjust new farm equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Clean and Lubricate: Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced technicians and will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of agricultural equipment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week.
