Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Chef Mayo Grill Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy kitchen.
  • Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise Kitchen Staff: Lead and train our kitchen team to ensure they are equipped to prepare and serve high-quality meals.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on kitchen operations and performance.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You must be physically demanding and able to work in a team-oriented setting.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related role
