Position Overview

Cashcash Inc. is seeking a dedicated Network System Administrator to manage and enhance our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure optimal performance of our computer systems and networks.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a related role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure software applications.
  • Set up and maintain web server hardware and software.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of computer systems and networks.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server components.
  • Evaluate and implement computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems.
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance to network users.
  • Implement security protocols for data, software, and hardware.
  • Conduct data backups and execute disaster recovery plans.
  • Establish local area networks and ensure internet connectivity.
  • Oversee and guide technical staff.
Work Environment

The role is set in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Candidates should be prepared for:

  • Repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads.
  • Physical demands including manual dexterity and the ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
