Job Title: Architectural Technician

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join our team at BATTAGLIA ARCHITECT INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing proposals, analyzing technical documents and reports, tendering contracts, and preparing working drawings. They will also supervise architectural technical staff, write specifications, monitor and inspect work, estimate costs and materials, and construct architectural and display models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
  • Area of Work Experience: Design
  • Architectural Specialization: Commercial and/or industrial construction, Renovation, Residential construction
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Ability to distinguish between colours, Sitting
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Initiative, Organized, Team player, Punctuality
