Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO)
The Financial Planning Advisor will oversee the financial planning and analytical processes to enhance the organization's strategic objectives. This position is responsible for delivering precise and timely financial reports, which include monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries, along with specialized reports as needed. The Financial Planning Advisor will spearhead initiatives in business strategy, expenditure decision support, financial assessment/analysis, operational review/analysis, benchmarking, and the implementation of best practices.
The role involves developing, evaluating, and participating in the establishment of robust financial planning concepts, methodologies, and standards to guarantee financial integrity and operational effectiveness. Continuous assessment and evaluation will be conducted to implement changes aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of financial processes, information systems, and models related to business planning, budgeting, reporting, and executive-level insights.
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience, including a period of adjustment to the role.
