About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director to lead our Primary Health Care operations in the Eastern Zone. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to a variety of professional healthcare disciplines, including health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in healthcare leadership, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a healthcare or primary care setting. You will also need to have a proven track record of financial and human resource management, as well as experience in planning, coordinating, and evaluating healthcare initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to healthcare teams and programs
  • Develop and implement healthcare strategies and plans
  • Manage budgets and resources to achieve healthcare goals
  • Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders to build capacity and improve healthcare services
  • Develop and sustain partnerships with healthcare organizations and external agencies
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree from a health discipline or health science field
  • Masters' degree in Business Administration, Health Services Administration, or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a healthcare or primary care setting
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in management and administration
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, and evaluating healthcare initiatives
  • Ability to work with family physicians and teams to build capacity
  • Ability to develop and sustain partnerships with healthcare organizations and external agencies
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
