Rubber Processing Machine Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rubber Processing Machine Operator to join our team at Soucy Baron. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the processing of rubber materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and tend machinery used for mixing, calendering, extruding, moulding, and curing rubber materials or rubber products.
  • Lay out and prepare rubber materials for assembly.
  • Operate machines or equipment to cut, shape, splice, fit, and cement rubber materials to form rubber parts or finished rubber products.
  • Inspect finished rubber products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Processing plant.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, reliable, and a team player.
