Job Title: Technical Project Assistant

At Groupe Lessard, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Project Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting contractual terms, deadlines, and budgets.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify project warranties before work begins
  • Handle service-related invoicing
  • Create service orders from approved client quotes
  • Secure client purchase orders before starting work to facilitate billing
  • Collaborate with the technical manager to read plans/specifications and prepare material requisitions/orders
  • Order supplies and send quotes to clients
  • Track orders with the procurement team
  • Reorder materials for defective or warranty returns
  • Conduct technical research in archives
Requirements:
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and Autodesk
  • Strong reading comprehension skills
  • Fluency in French and basic English
  • At least 2 years of technical work experience, preferably in the construction industry
  • Autonomy, dynamism, and ability to take initiatives
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
  • Rigour, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility
