Job Title: Clinical Informatics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our ICT Department, you will play a critical role in customizing, testing, and implementing applications, upgrades, and enhancements to our Meditech application and other health information systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the development and implementation of healthcare IT solutions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand clinical workflows and requirements
  • Design and implement data analytics and reporting solutions
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and applications
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and project proposals
Requirements:
  • University degree in healthcare science or a related field
  • Minimum two years of experience working with a major Health Information System
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and foster good team building principles
  • Strong typing skills (50wpm) and ability to learn new computer applications quickly
