Aspire Bakeries, a prominent player in the North American baking industry, is dedicated to producing a diverse array of frozen baked products. We are currently in search of a committed individual to fill the role of Maintenance Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement work orders efficiently.
- Generate and manage SAP work orders and purchase order requests.
- Prioritize and organize preventive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Provide support for troubleshooting during production halts.
- Supervise on-site contractors effectively.
- Enhance communication across departments.
- Participate in production meetings to uphold food safety standards.
- Promote safety for employees and the facility.
- Develop strategies for achieving operational goals.
- Enhance production techniques and equipment efficiency.
- Monitor and forecast potential equipment malfunctions.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and fault analysis.
- Conduct training sessions and maintain accurate records.
- Foster a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed Millwright or Electrician in Ontario, or a degree in Engineering.
- 5-7 years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing setting.
- Class B refrigeration operator certification is advantageous.
- Experience in the food manufacturing sector is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach.
- Technical problem-solving skills with trades experience.
- Willingness to pursue further certifications.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with government regulations, GMPs, and HACCP standards.
