Labour Law Specialist Opportunity at Shared Health

We are seeking a highly skilled Labour Law Specialist to join our team at Shared Health. As a Labour Law Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support on labour law matters, including grievance and arbitration files, collective bargaining, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage grievance and arbitration files, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Provide collective bargaining support, including negotiation and contract administration
  • Contribute to strategic planning and risk management, identifying and mitigating potential labour law risks
  • Collaborate with health system executive leaders on emerging critical issues with a provincial scope

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in labour law, preferably in a unionized environment
  • Strong knowledge of labour law and regulations, including collective bargaining and grievance procedures
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on quality and timeliness
