Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team at Lifemark. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of medical assessments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate medical assessment reports to ensure continuity, consistency, accuracy, spelling, grammar, and compliance with current regulations.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on medical documentation, including medical histories, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans.
  • Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in medical assessments and provide timely feedback to assessors for correction.
  • Collaborate with assessors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and support to assessors on quality assurance procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure accurate report timelines are recorded.
  • Ensure reports are sent to the client on time.
  • Ensure the timely follow-up and tracking of all QA statuses and reports.
  • Follow QA protocols for releasing and saving reports.
  • Offer exceptional customer service when responding to client queries and/or explaining report discrepancies.
  • Identify issues that will impact on service standards and rectify or escalate those issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A regulated health professional with at least 3 years' experience either as a Kinesiologist, Physiotherapist, or Nurse.
  • 1-2 years' work experience in a medical clinic, hospital, or insurance office.
  • Action-oriented, highly organized, results-oriented, independent problem solver with demonstrated clinical, medical legal assessment, and/or adjudication experience.
  • Detailed familiarity with the current and prior auto insurance legislation, arbitration, and associated legal decisions.
  • Solid command of the English language and demonstrated excellent communication skills.
  • Has working knowledge of MS Word and Excel and the ability to learn and navigate new systems.
  • Flexible and team-oriented.
  • French/English fluency is strongly preferred.
