Job Title: Estimate Auditor

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of physical damage claims. Your expertise in auto body repair, estimating standards, and repair facility practices will be essential in reviewing and approving claims.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough audits of physical damage claim estimates to ensure compliance with MPI estimating standards and business rules.
  • Review repair facilities that fall below the Earned Approval Limits (EAL) to control claims costs.
  • Verify the accuracy of parts and labor requested, as well as the quality of photos and documentation related to claim details.
  • Assess the quality of repair and accuracy of procedures completed by the shop, referring potential claims to Accredited Repair for inspection.
  • Modify and correct paid claims according to established Estimating Standards, Compliance Rules, and related MPI policies.
  • Create applicable journal notes in CARS or WorkCenter to support review decisions and/or required next steps.
  • Identify estimating anomalies and report to management.
Qualifications:
  • Journeyperson Certificate (Red Seal) or Certificate of Qualification in Motor Vehicle Body Repairer, Automotive Service Technician, or Truck and Transport Mechanic.
  • Seven years of bench experience in autobody repair, including one year in a customer service capacity.
