Job Title: Medical Clinic Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Clinic Receptionist to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The Medical Clinic Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers. This includes greeting patients, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and greeting patients and visitors.
  • Scheduling and Appointments: Schedule appointments, manage waitlists, and coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to healthcare providers, including preparing patient charts, updating medical records, and performing other clerical duties.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in electronic medical records, switchboard systems, and database software.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment:

This is a casual position with a variable schedule, working up to 38.75 hours per week. Free parking is available on site.
