Job Title: Barber Shop Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Barber Shop Manager to join our team at The Style Academy Inc.

Job Summary

The Barber Shop Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our barber shop, ensuring that all services are delivered to the highest standard and that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our barber shop, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Plan and Control Budget and Inventory: Develop and manage budgets and inventory levels to ensure that our barber shop operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Respond to Enquiries: Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities and provide information on our services.
  • Plan Development Projects: Plan and implement development projects to improve the performance of our barber shop.
  • Evaluate Curriculum Programs: Evaluate curriculum programs and recommend improvements to ensure that our services meet the needs of our customers.
  • Conduct Surveys: Conduct surveys to gather feedback from our customers and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess Business Opportunities: Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Answer Inquiries: Answer inquiries from students and provide information on our services.
  • Evaluate Curriculum: Evaluate the scope and sequence of our curriculum and recommend improvements.
  • Develop Curriculum: Develop the content of our curriculum to ensure that it meets the needs of our customers.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
