Position Summary

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

The BPM development team is an innovative group focused on creating advanced BPM solutions that drive digital transformation within the organization. The core technology utilized is PEGA, alongside other emerging platforms such as Camunda.

As a PEGA Development Lead, you will take on the pivotal role of hands-on squad leader, responsible for designing and developing high-impact workflow applications leveraging the latest PEGA technologies. Collaborating closely with a team of PEGA developers and partners, you will facilitate the adoption of DevOps practices to enhance delivery efficiency.

Your responsibilities will also include overseeing the development methodology across several new PEGA initiatives. You will be instrumental in establishing and promoting modern PEGA development practices, emphasizing cloud readiness, low-code frameworks, COSMOS UI, and DXAPI.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint business challenges and deliver high-quality solutions utilizing the latest PEGA technologies.
  • Design the enterprise class structure and reusable foundational components.
  • Integrate PEGA solutions with other enterprise applications through service-oriented and streaming technologies.
  • Lead the development team in building applications using contemporary development methodologies, including code reviews and DevOps pipelines to enhance delivery quality and speed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues.
  • Establish a low-code and citizen development model to improve delivery agility.
  • Research and implement the latest capabilities of the PEGA platform, such as COSMOS UI, DXAPI, and emerging BPM technologies to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront.
  • Ensure consistency in PEGA application design and development practices across multiple new projects.
  • Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to developers.
  • Promote knowledge sharing with enterprise audiences.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 6+ years of experience in PEGA application development with medium to high complexity.
  • Certified Lead System Architect or actively pursuing LSA certification.
  • Extensive knowledge of PEGA versions 7, 8.5, and above.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps and continuous delivery methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven ability to make technical design and enhancement recommendations across various applications and technologies, mentor on standards and coding practices, and debug complex or urgent issues.
  • Adept at resolving integration challenges to ensure solutions meet requirements and engineering constraints.
  • Strong business insight related to medium/high complexity lines of business.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with Camunda, Angular, JAVA, and Cloud Technologies.
  • Previous experience with Kofax, Content Management, Records Management, Forms Digitization, and RPA.
  • Possession of one or more relevant application design and development certifications.
  • Completion of intermediate courses or certifications in business communications.
  • Prior involvement in Agile projects.
