Role Summary

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

The BPM development team is a dynamic group focused on creating innovative BPM solutions that drive digital transformation within the financial sector. The primary technology utilized is PEGA, alongside other cutting-edge technologies such as Camunda.

As a PEGA Solutions Architect, your key responsibility will be to serve as the hands-on leader for a team dedicated to designing and developing high-impact workflow applications utilizing the latest PEGA technologies. Collaborating closely with a team of PEGA developers and external partners, you will enhance the adoption of DevOps practices to facilitate quicker delivery cycles.

You will also supervise the development practices across various new PEGA initiatives. Your role includes fostering and promoting modern PEGA development methodologies with an emphasis on cloud readiness, low-code frameworks, COSMOS UI, and DXAPI.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate effectively with partners to identify business challenges and deliver high-quality solutions using the latest PEGA technologies.
  • Design the enterprise class structure and reusable foundational components.
  • Integrate PEGA solutions with other enterprise applications through service-oriented and streaming technologies.
  • Lead the development team in building applications using contemporary development practices, including code reviews and DevOps pipelines to enhance delivery quality and speed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Establish a low-code and citizen development model to improve delivery agility.
  • Research and stay updated on the latest PEGA platform capabilities, including COSMOS UI, DXAPI, and emerging BPM technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
  • Ensure consistency in PEGA application design and development practices across multiple new projects.
  • Provide on-the-job mentorship to developers.
  • Promote knowledge sharing within the enterprise.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 6+ years of experience in PEGA application development with medium to high complexity.
  • Certified Lead System Architect or working towards LSA certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of PEGA versions 7, 8.5, and later.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps and continuous delivery methodologies.
  • A degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to make technical design and enhancement recommendations across various applications and technologies, mentor on standards and coding practices, and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Able to resolve integration challenges to ensure solution compliance with requirements and engineering constraints.
  • Strong business insight related to medium/high complexity lines of business.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with Camunda, Angular, JAVA, and Cloud Technologies.
  • Previous experience with Kofax, Content Management, Records Management, Forms Digitization, and RPA.
  • Possession of one or more relevant application design and development certifications.
  • Completion of intermediate courses or certifications in business communications.
  • Prior experience with Agile methodologies.
