About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 12912503 Canada Ltd. as a key member of our retail operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of 3-4 retail salespersons and sales clerks, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Merchandise Management: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand and achieve sales targets.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Assign sales workers to duties, sell merchandise, and resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Recruitment and Training: Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
