This position plays a vital role in the preparation, registration, and management of collateral securities, supporting CWB's equipment financing loan portfolio. As a Collateral Management Specialist, you will assist leadership in maintaining high standards of quality, risk management, and data integrity.
Key Duties
Client Experience
- Provide outstanding client experiences at every interaction, executing plans to enhance client satisfaction in alignment with CWB's brand promise.
Internal Service Commitments
- Offer collateral securities support for equipment financing to a designated branch network, collaborating closely with business and corporate departments. Communicate with all partners regarding loan processing and inquiries.
- Prepare and manage documentation related to equipment financing loans and funding, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets and quality standards for credit support.
- Foster a collaborative and client-focused relationship with the credit support department and the equipment financing network while ensuring efficiency and governance.
- Clarify closing requirements with equipment financing teams, clients, and legal representatives, ensuring timely closings.
Process Compliance & Optimization
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of processes that ensure consistent and reliable credit support outcomes across equipment financing teams.
- Ensure that contributions to collateral securities comply with the Bank's policies and guidelines, enabling partners to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Accountable for executing work procedures, policies, and methods to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Engage actively in initiatives aimed at realizing benefits from credit processing standardization.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to accuracy and consistency in all tasks.
- Participate in projects that impact the functional area or specific department, adhering to project governance practices and budget constraints.
- Conduct due diligence related to credit support activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Proficient in Banking Systems, Loan Origination Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Forms.
