Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cabinet Maker to join our team at Inout Design & Construction. This role requires a blend of craftsmanship and technical skills to create high-quality custom cabinetry.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in cabinetry is essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed specifications for custom cabinets that optimize storage solutions.
  • Utilize hand tools such as planes, chisels, and wood files to shape wood surfaces and edges.
  • Analyze plans, specifications, or drawings to understand the requirements for production.
  • Assemble parts and subassemblies to create complete units, ensuring joints are reinforced effectively.
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply finishes such as veneer, stain, or polish to enhance the final product.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
  • Estimate costs and materials needed for projects.
  • Repair or refurbish wooden furniture and fixtures as required.
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications accurately.
  • Operate heavy machinery safely when necessary.

This position focuses on the specialization of cabinetry.

Work Environment
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods is required.
  • Must be capable of working independently.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to handle weights of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Work Schedule

This is a permanent position with a commitment of 30 hours per week.
