About the Role

This position is responsible for fabricating spare components and various other tool and die components using the CNC/EDM process. The successful candidate will be accountable for building and maintaining tools, dies, and fixtures to support a production schedule.

Your Responsibilities
  • Fabricate punches, dies, and other various tool and die components using the CNC/EDM process.
  • Machine components to support CNC/EDM process using all applicable toolroom machinery.
  • Maintain and track the critical component inventory within the wireroom.
  • Capable of using toolroom machinery.
  • Ensure fabricated components are completed in an efficient and prioritized manner.
  • Design and implement tooling-related changes and make necessary changes to the master die files.
  • Create math data for outside services.
  • Create drawings for tool makers.
  • Capable of making suggestions for continuous improvements on tooling.
  • Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Perform basic CNC/EDM equipment maintenance.
  • Program CMC and wire EDM machines.
  • Must be aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how it affects quality and the environment for our customers.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Completion of high school or equivalent.
  • 1 to less than 3 years of work-related experience.
  • Minimum 1 year college-level CNC programming.
  • Minimum 2 years CNC/EDM machine operation/program experience.
