Job Title: CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Ericson Manufacturing Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to set up and operate CNC machines.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance using precision measuring instruments.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-precision parts and components.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in CNC machining.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
Work Environment:

The CNC Machinist will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
