Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Regularly analyze and assess financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making
    • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including senior management and franchisees
  • Commercial Advice and Support
    • Provide financial and commercial guidance to franchisees and other stakeholders to support business growth and profitability
    • Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with franchisee operations
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance and reduce costs
  • Relationship Building and Communication
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, senior management, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
    • Communicate financial and commercial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
    • Contribute to the development of business plans and strategies
    • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a business partnership or retail industry
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, banking, and funding requirements in a franchise, retail, or multi-site environment
  • A post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • CA or CPA accreditation is an asset
