About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Sun Star Mechanical LTD. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Site Preparation: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Pipe Fabrication: Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Pipe Joining: Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Pipe Sizing and Measurement: Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Pipe Bending and Cutting: Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plumbing.
  • Work Schedule: Permanent position, 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
