Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our team at LMC Healthcare. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy, providing exceptional patient care and diabetes counseling services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide diabetes counseling, training, and education services to patients.
  • Manage and train pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and students.
  • Collaborate with endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Work with the Operations Manager and Director of Pharmacy to meet key financial and performance metrics.
Requirements:
  • Interest in helping patients with diabetes improve their health and wellbeing.
  • OCP Part A licensed pharmacist in good standing.
  • OCP Injection Certification – current certification and first aid.
  • Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of pharmacy practice and diabetes education experience preferred.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
  • Must have previous retail pharmacy experience.
  • Kroll proficiency and EMR experience an asset.
  • Ability to lead a team and inspire people to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Results-oriented with financial and business acumen.
  • Interested in driving continuous improvement in processes and increasing efficiencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
