We are seeking a skilled Glass Installer to join our team at Alliance Glass Doors Inc.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for installing glass and mirrors in various settings, including residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
- Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure a precise fit
- Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring a secure and watertight seal
- Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
- Install door and window hardware, including handles and hinges
- Repair glass doors and other glass structures, ensuring a safe and secure environment
- Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment as needed
- Transport cases of glass to and from job sites
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Basic security clearance
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy glass and equipment
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, often at heights and in confined spaces. They will be required to lift and move heavy glass and equipment, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
