About the Role

We are seeking a skilled glazier to join our team at Falcon Glass Ltd. As a glazier, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass and other glazing materials in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each job
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to precise specifications
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring a secure and watertight seal
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper alignment and function
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, using specialized tools and techniques
  • Transport cases of glass safely and efficiently
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand job requirements
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the glazing industry
  • Ability to work at heights and outdoors
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is varied, with opportunities to work on different types of projects and with various clients.

Language and Work Term

The primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent.
