Job Title: Greenhouse Manager

Join Livingstone Outdoor as a Greenhouse Manager and take on the exciting challenge of overseeing the daily operations of our greenhouse and nursery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our greenhouse and nursery, while also contributing to the development of our sustainable gardening practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the greenhouse and nursery, including planning, scheduling, and supervising staff.
  • Develop and implement sustainable gardening practices, including permaculture and organic gardening methods.
  • Ensure the health and well-being of plants, including monitoring and controlling pests and diseases.
  • Maintain accurate records of plant growth, sales, and inventory.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in greenhouse and nursery management.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable gardening practices, including permaculture and organic gardening methods.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in horticulture or related field preferred.
