We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Student Financial Aid. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and contribute to the growth and success of Innivec. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the financial aid department, ensuring that students receive the support they need to achieve their academic goals. Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising and mentoring a team of financial aid staff to ensure efficient operations and professional development.
* Developing and implementing strategic goals for the financial aid office, aligning with the institution's overall objectives.
* Overseeing the development, implementation, and periodic review of financial aid policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
* Managing the administration of all financial aid programs, including grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study programs.
* Developing and maintaining financial aid budgets, including allocation of funds and monitoring of expenditures.
* Providing guidance on managing educational expenses effectively, including tuition, fees, and living expenses.
* Offering advice and resources on financial literacy topics to help students make informed decisions.
* Designing and conducting workshops, seminars, and informational sessions to educate students and families about financial aid opportunities, application procedures, and financial literacy.
* Utilizing data to analyze financial aid trends, assess program effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
* Developing and executing strategies to enhance the financial aid office's services, streamline operations, and improve student access to financial resources.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in finance, education, business administration, or a related field, and have extensive knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations and compliance requirements. Strong leadership and management abilities, with a proven track record of effective team supervision and development, are essential.
