Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our research and development team at Wedge Networks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cloud infrastructure for service provider environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cloud infrastructure for service provider environments.
  • Maintain and grow knowledge in the cloud space and complementing trends.
  • Develop operational processes for product roll out within various cloud environments.
  • Work with the leadership team on the evolution of customer integration of the company's product line.
  • Align DevOps projects with business objectives set out by the company.
  • Contribute to thought leadership in the cloud infrastructure space.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent in computer science, computer/electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years experience developing highly robust software in Java.
  • 2+ years experience in cloud/virtual infrastructure.
  • 2+ years experience in service provider environment.
  • Knowledge of SCRUM software development methodologies and processes.
  • Deployment/configuration automation experience is an asset.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of UNIX/LINUX environments.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand technology problems and work through to resolution.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with various departments, including QA and Operations.
