We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time math and science tutor/tutor-teacher at Oxford Learning Stouffville. As a tutor-teacher, you will work directly with students, providing guidance and support in math and science subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach math and science subjects to students in grades 9-12
- Develop and implement lesson plans using Oxford Learning's proprietary methodologies and philosophies
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. mathematics, science, education)
- Teaching certification or experience in a related field
- Strong knowledge of math and science curriculum for grades 9-12
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
